9 Ways to Care for the Delicate Skin Around Your Eyes

The most sensitive part of your skin is not the skin of your feet, or your arms, or even the apples of your cheek. It’s actually the skin right around your eyes!

Vitamin E is popularly known as the vitamin of the skin – and for a good reason. Vitamin E does not only help to retain moisture on the skin, but it also protects your skin from being sunburned.

  • To remove eyeliner, simply press the cotton ball on the eyeliner and gently drag along the lash line.
  • Be careful to put too much pressure or tug the cotton ball over your eyelids.  

If you don’t have a good makeup remover, you can use petroleum jelly. To apply, simply follow the instructions above but using petroleum jelly. Then, wash your face using warm water and mild soap before drying it with a clean towel. 

Say ‘No’ to Eyebrow Waxing

With the recent eyebrow trend, keeping the form of your eyebrows clean and neat is extremely important. Most people would often shave their eyebrows to keep it that way, but shaving is a tedious task. So, others go for waxing…

In expense of your skin, that is. 

Waxing involves a lot of forceful (and sometimes painful) tugging that is not good for delicate skin. This oil hydrates and rejuvenates skin through its high vitamin content. Moreover, it can get rid of fine lines and wrinkles across your skin. For this reason, almond oil is dubbed as a great anti-aging agent. 

To use, spread the oil across the skin around your eyes. Then massage the oil into the skin using circular motions. Leave it overnight before washing it off during the morning.
