Be Beautiful Without Botox

Botox has definitely grown to become a widely used anti-aging source throughout the world.  While it had a certain stigma about it for a while, that’s long gone.  While many women (and men) swear by their regular botox treatments, we realize that not everyone is interested in utilizing this type of treatment to look and feel their best.  Contrary to popular belief, there are definitely ways for you to be beautiful without botox.  You know we’re all about giving you our favorite tips and tricks, and we all love a little anti-aging info – right?

While we know (ok, hope) you’re already in the routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing your skin on a daily basis and doing those steps every morning and evening there’s one other step that should be added into your skin care routine to help your skin stay on track and youthful.  What is it, you ask?  Adding a serum into your skin care routine!  Serums are great for really adding that extra boost of nutrients into your skin that have been found to be really beneficial in anti-aging effects.  Most experts suggest looking for a serum that’s high in antioxidants and vitamin C, as these ingredients tend to be the most beneficial in anti-aging properties and helping to protect your skin over time as well.

Clean Up Your Diet
Believe it or not, what we eat and drink has a major impact on our skin and appearance.  Many experts have become big culprits of cleaning up the diet in relation to skin care.  If you want to really be beautiful without botox, one of the best ways to do that is by taking care of your skin from the inside out.  That means drinking a lot of water (for real, a lot of water), incorporating more lean protein, fresh fruits and veggies, and cutting out excess sugar and carbs.  It’s not the quick fix to your skin care, but it’s been found to make a major impact on your skin long term and really give you beautiful, glowing skin that’s healthy.

Stop Skipping Your Exfoliation
We get it, your skin care can sometimes seem like it’s a bit time consuming, but if you want healthy, youthful looking skin you’re going to need to put in the time and effort to achieve that.  Especially with skin care.  So many of us tend to skip the exfoliation step in our skin care routine, but that needs to stop.  Exfoliating our skin on a consistent basis has been found to work wonders for eliminating dead skin cells, dirt, oil and bacteria as well as free radicals.  Since our skin is exposed to so many different things on a daily basis, those factors can cause our skin to show signs of aging.  Exfoliating the skin regularly helps to really ensure that you’re removing all that ‘stuff’ from your skin so they don’t continue to harm or age your skin.

Of course, overall it’s also important to ensure that you’re using quality skin care products that are designed to work with your skin type – and specializing in anti-aging properties are another added bonus.
