Do you ever feel like it takes you so much longer to get ready or go through your beauty routine than it should? Every woman has likely felt that a time or two in their lives. If you think about it, sometimes we do spend a LOT of time going through our beauty routine and it can feel like a bit much at times. But cutting back on certain things just doesn’t seem worth it either. We were thinking there has to be a way to save time, but still get the results you want. If you’ve been thinking the same thing, you’re in the right place because we found some! We’re sharing a few of our favorite beauty routine time savers now.
Double Duty Products are Game Changers
Let’s face it, when we’re going through our beauty routine a lot of our time is spent fussing around looking for all the different products we use. If this is you, it may be time to start trying out double duty products to save you time looking for the products AND essentially being able to skip a step. Not sure what we mean by double duty? Tinted lip balms are one prime example, you’re getting your lips moisturized but also adding a little color to your lips. Another great go-to for double duty beauty products is actually mixing your moisturizer with your foundation, or getting a tinted moisturizer. Similar to the tinted lip balm, you’re moisturizing your skin and getting a little color coverage from the foundation. One of our other favorite mixing combos that saves time but gives you a great look is combining self-tanning lotion with your regular moisturizer – moisture + a little glow is a total winning combo.
Stop Washing Your Hair Daily
Most hair experts suggest NOT washing your hair every day. Why? It actually strips your hair of its natural oils. So instead wash your hair every other day or every two days – talk about a major time saver, right? Not only will this save you time in your beauty routine, but your hair will be healthier over time. If you feel like you need a little boost in between washes, dry shampoo will be your new BFF. Dry shampoo is a life saver when it comes to giving your hair a little revival between washes, plus a lot of hair stylists say that it does wonders for creating great texture in your hair.
Like we said, a lot of us waste and spend a lot of time going through our beauty routine because we lack a lot of organization or a method to the madness, if you will. Getting all your beauty products organized and in a system that’s easy for you to find them is going to do wonders for helping you save time as you go through your beauty routine on a daily basis. The key is not only getting yourself an organization system, but sticking with it!
