When it comes to fashion, it’s constantly changing and evolving, sometimes it can be hard to even keep up. Since trends change so often, it’s almost confusing to know if certain trends from one year are still fun and trendy the next. But we’re always all about continuing to wear certain trends (especially those you love) longer than just one season. Fall fashion is always fun and exciting, with so many new things out, but you’re probably still loving some of last year’s trends so we’re talking about last Fall’s fashions that still pop to give you a little inspiration to keep rocking those trends you wore last Fall.
We were all on that skinny jean train for so long, most of us probably forgot there are other jean silhouette options. Last year we saw the revival of the flares and we LOVED it. It’s a refreshing spin on pants, because we were all getting a little tired of skinny everything (right?). If you loved this trend, you’re in luck because it’s still going to pop this year. With so many different fashion trends happening, we’re all about keeping the flares this Fall season for an updated feel.
Last fall’s runways were filled with head-to-toe black looks that had that almost goth/grunge vibe to them, it’s not too surprising that the 90’s vibes have been all over the place since leading us to be all about the all black this Fall too. The great thing about black is you really have the opportunity to play around with different textures and create a totally unique look that’s still trendy and on point, even this season! Possibly adding some additional 90’s elements can be a great way to really bring the all black trend in this Fall season.
We hadn’t seen turtlenecks in what seemed like years, but last Fall, they were in full effect on the runways and we’re actually seeing them in retailers MORE this Fall season. Turtlenecks are definitely back from the 90’s and in full on revival mode right now. If you have any turtlenecks from last season, you can definitely hang on to these and rock them because you’re totally going to be on point all Fall season long with them. They’re great layering pieces, so you have plenty of different ways to rock turtlenecks to make it feel updated and unique.
You may have noticed a bit of slip dress action on the runways and in some retailers last Fall, and much like turtlenecks they’re in FULL gear this Fall season. We’re really in a full 90’s vibe revival this year and the slip dress trends prove it. If you’re all about the slip dress trend, you’re in luck because these beauties didn’t go anywhere from last Fall and they’re going to be here in all their glory all Fall season.
What do you think of the trends that are still popular from last Fall? Any personal favorites?
